Welcome to Straw Hat

It all started because we wanted to wear anime clothing… and couldn't find anything we'd actually want to put on.

There was plenty out there, sure. But almost all of it was too big, too loud, too "look, I'm into anime" shouted from the rooftops. We were after something else: subtle designs, with references hidden inside the artwork. The kind of tee that, if you've seen that exact moment, gets a knowing smile out of you… and if you haven't, it just looks like a t-shirt that's cool. No costumes. Just clothes that feel like yours.

That's how we started. Three friends obsessed with anime, tired of not finding what we wanted to wear, and determined to make it ourselves. A brand by fans, for fans. That's it.

Today we're still that same small team, with endless energy and plenty of stories left to tell (like that side character who ends up being everyone's favorite). Sometimes our timelines slip a little, and we're working on keeping prices fair without asking you to sell a kidney (or lending us yours). So we ask for patience, understanding and constructive criticism. We'll do everything we can so every tee that reaches your hands leaves you happy.

On how we make them: we use DTG (Direct to Garment) printing. That means the design is truly integrated into the fabric, not a layer of plastic that cracks after three washes. We've tested up to 20 washes in a row and the ink is still intact (we didn't go further because we ran out of detergent, but we keep testing).
